Lake Panthers PTO
We are a non-profit parent teacher organization that meets once a month at Round Table Pizza or at the school to discuss fundraising ideas and plan activities. We have been using the funds raised to purchase new playground equipment and to start a school beatification project. We also have a grandparent's day BBQ in October, Santa's Workshop in December and an end of the year BBQ for the students in June. We offer a scholarship to one graduating 8th grader and donate funds to sober grad. We also have a summer reading program for the students and reward them with gift cards from Barnes & Noble and give the teachers extra money for classroom supplies & a field trip. Our biggest annual fundraiser is the Spaghetti Feed & Carnival which is held in September. There will be lots of fliers coming home in the upcoming weeks with more details regarding the spaghetti feed. We also started the Carnitas Drive Thru fundraiser a couple years ago, which will be held in May. We do our best to keep the meetings quick and informative.
